and Kant s practical philosophy of the 1780 s.
2) Anthropology and metaphysics of morals : the application of pure practical philosophy to
human nature.
3) Right and ethics in the Metaphysics of Morals: some remarks on the distinction of the two
spheres of die Moral.
4) The new teleological ethics in the Doctrine of virtue: humanity as end in itself and
teleological duties of virtue.
5) The taxonomy of duties in the Tugendlehre: perfect / imperfect duties, duties to oneself and
duties to others, the latitude of imperfect duties and the role of practical judgment.
